The equipment adopts peripheral transmission. The sewage flows into the tank through the inlet pipe at the center of the tank, and after diffusion through the steady flow tube, it flows out radially and uniformly towards the periphery. The sus-pended sludge settles at the bottom of the tank. The driving device drives the working bridge to rotate along the periphery,and the scraper arm and scraper plate are also driven to rotate. The scraper plate collects the sludge and pumps it into the sludge collector in the center tank by using the static water pressure inside the tank. Then,the sludge is discharged from the tank through the central sludge discharge pipe. The floating scum on the water surface is guided into the scum dis-charge hopper and removed from the tank through the rotating scum skimmer, The clarified liquid overflows into the out let channel through the triangular overflow weir plate and is discharged from the tank.The peripheral transmission scraper-suction machine is suitable for radial flow sedimentation tanks with center inlet, peripheral outlet, and central sludge discharge, with large, medium, and small tank diameters. It is mainly used for sludge suction and discharge in the secondary sedimentation tanks of urban wastewater treatment plants.
